After I started into this piece, I noticed two "hotspots" where the paint was not adhering correctly. I work in transparent layers and I found myself adding many extra layers to these two spots but the problem persisted. I sanded, regessoed but was still encountering the same results. So at a loss as to what was causing it and rather then invest more time into a flawed foundation, in the trash it goes. Even after my long endeavor of sharing my work online I haven't seen any artist share anything like this, but it happens. Maybe I'll revisit this subject again in the future…
